This is a receipe specially for my English-speaking friends:
Rich in essential fatty acids,
dietary fiber, iron, magnesium,
zinc, phosphorus, vitamin A & E,
this easy-made energy bar makes a healthy
and tasteful alternative to the ones you get in the supermarket.
This gives approx. 25 small bars:
2 cups melted butter
2 cups/6 oz. Oats
2 cups/6 oz. grated coconut
1,5 cups sunflower seeds
1 cup sesame seeds
2 cups chopped walnuts
1 cup pumpkin seeds
2 cups finely chopped dried apricots
4 table spoons Agave syrup or honey
2 cups extra virgin coconut oil
Melt the butter on medium heat in a large frying pan and add oats and coconut.
Stir until the oats gets light golden, and then add the rest.
Mix well, remove from the heat and press everything
into a square dish for cooling.
Keep refrigerated.
